About Bonehead Games

It started with crafts at a kitchen table.

When I was about four years old, my mother would bring out paints, paper, glue, and whatever supplies she could find on a rainy day. “Can’t go outside today,” she’d say. “Time to make something.”

Those early moments never really stopped shaping what I do. They just evolved from paper and paint into worlds, stories, and games shared across tables with other players.

I’ve been part of tabletop gaming for most of my life — playing Dungeons & Dragons since 1980, painting miniatures since 1981, and serving as a Dungeon Master since 1982. Over the decades, I’ve also completed formal education in game design, building on years of hands-on experience with systems, storytelling, encounter design, and player-driven narrative.

That combination of lived experience and formal study shapes everything I create.

Bonehead Games

Bonehead Games was founded in 2018 as a creative outlet built around one simple idea: make high-quality gaming experiences and products accessible to players without unnecessary cost or compromise.

From the beginning, I’ve focused on tabletop role-playing games and related materials. That includes adventures, tools for Game Masters, and curated products that enhance play at the table.

BoneheadGames.shop is focused on premium products for Magic: The Gathering and tabletop role-playing games.

That includes:

• MTG accessories and game tools
• TTRPG materials and adventures
• Miniatures for tabletop gaming
• Deck boxes and storage solutions
• Game room décor and table accessories

Every item is chosen or created with one standard in mind: it has to be something I would confidently use at my own table.

For miniatures and printed components, I work exclusively with high-quality licensed STL sources, including STLFlix, selecting only the designs that meet my quality expectations for detail, usability, and durability in actual gameplay.

A Creator-Led Approach

This isn’t a mass marketplace.

Everything here is built around real experience at the gaming table — understanding what works in play, what survives long campaigns, and what actually improves the experience for players and Game Masters.

When you’re choosing something from Bonehead Games, you’re not just buying a product. You’re choosing something that comes from decades of playing, running, and living tabletop games.

A Broader Creative World

Alongside tabletop gaming, I also develop fantasy-based video game projects. These projects are part of a long-term creative direction, including a game currently in development called Age of Discovery.

The worldbuilding behind those projects connects loosely to broader fantasy storytelling, but BoneheadGames.shop remains focused on tabletop gaming and physical play experiences.

Quality Matters

I use and evaluate everything personally. If it doesn’t meet the standard I would expect at my own table, it doesn’t get offered here.

That’s the principle behind Bonehead Games — and it hasn’t changed since the first miniature I ever painted.

Bonehead Games exists because I’ve spent my life playing these games — and I still believe the best ones are the ones that bring people together.
